Coming Prepared to Practice

Hi Sharks! Please remember to bring the following to practice every day: 

  • Water 
    • Swimming is physical exercise. You don't realize you're sweating when you're in the pool, but you are. We don't want any of our swimmers getting dehydrated, so please bring a water bottle with your name on it to practice every day! 
  • Cap and Goggles
    • Please bring a cap (wearing a cap makes you swim faster!) and goggles (so you can see under water!) every day! 
  • Sunscreen 
    • Even at evening practices it is best to wear sunscreen! 
  • Fins
    • Our year-round program is designed to work on technique and improve speed. We find that fins help our swimmers learn and feel the rhythm of the strokes, so we are asking our kids to bring fins to practice every day.
